Guest wanted to create an ‘Ombre’ look as, opposed to ‘Balayage’, solid-blonde ends that blended softly into the top. We wanted to avoid creating a streaky, or ribboned, effect.
Hair was cut to the desired length with minimal layers. A full head of highlights were added to create a soft blend from top to bottom. The hair between foils was then ‘tipped-out’ to get the desired look on the ends. A tip-out was necessary because most previous color would be lost after the haircut, and a brighter end-result was desired.
